The Austrian artist group gold extra produces internationally acclaimed projects in art and media. Fusing innovative technologies, critical theory and sociopolitical issues, we further a participatory discourse. We are engaged in an artistic research in innovative art forms to create the matching formal environment for our ideas.
gold extra members have created a great number of projects that transcend the boundaries between Fine Arts, games and performance, which have been presented at festivals, theatres and museum as ZKM Karlsruhe, Nam Jun Paik Center, Seoul, Art Moscow, Games for Change, New York, Gorki Theater, Ethnolog, Museum Zürich, Humboldt Stiftung Berlin, Cultural Capital Marseille.
